Preparation for TCEA

This afternoon I am doing the last bits of preparation for my presentation at TCEA which will be on Thursday. You are all invited! It is actually a presentation by teachers from my school. We are talking about the reality of using Web 2.0 in the classroom. We are coming from the point of view that we are not experts, but have something to share and we really want to hear what others are experiencing and learning also.

I am also looking forward to the Edubloggercon. This is a gathering of like-minded people for an "unconference". Edubloggercons have happened at many conferences in many locations. I have participated twice at NECC conferences. It is a great chance to meet people that you may have learned to know online through blogging, twitter, Nings or something else. The sessions are times for collaboration rather than one person presenting to a group. People have posted subjects that they are interested in talking and listening about on a wiki.
