What's in a Name?

I am enjoying learning and meeting people at the TCEA (Texas Computer Educator's Association) conference in Austin, TX. Yesterday I was in a session about Thinkfinity, which is an amazing resource (more about that in a different post). We all had to introduce ourselves. Many of us had similar roles at our school campuses, but we all had different titles. It occurred to me that in the last 10 years I have been a CIS, AIS, CTC, ITP, and now I am a TIP!! Each of these acronyms can stand for different things! CIS for me was Cluster Instructional Specialist, but for teachers in a blog I was just reading it meant Campus Instructional Specialist!

For those of you who might be curious TIP, my current title, stands for Technology Instructional Partner.
